If your skin is red, irritated, or feeling extra sensitive, Dr. Althea’s 345 Relief Cream might just be your new go-to. Having heard quite a few positive reviews of this apparent mircle product, I had to give this a try myself. Undergoing a flare of closed comedones, acnes, and inflammation, this product seemed like it could solve all my problems. With a calming, minimalist formula, it’s designed to deliver fast-acting relief while deeply hydrating. But does it live up to the promise? Here’s everything you need to know.

🧪 What Is It?

This cream is part of Dr. Althea’s minimalist, barrier-supporting skincare line. The number “345” reflects its formulation with 3 active ingredients, 4 moisturizing ingredients, and 5 plant extracts.

💡 Key Ingredients
  • Centella Asiatica Extract: Soothes inflammation and supports wound healing.
  • Panthenol (Vitamin B5): Hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier.
  • Allantoin: Reduces redness and provides gentle moisturization.
  • Niacinamide: helps with blemish relief, skin brightening, and promoting an even skin tone.
🧴 Texture & Feel

The cream has a soft, silky texture that spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t leave a feeling of being sticky or greasy — perfect for day or night use. I tried to primarily use it during my night time routine.

💬 My Experience

I used this cream when I experienced a flare up of closed comedones, acne, and inflammation all over my face – at once 😭. I hoped this cream might help with all of these concerns since I seen so many people raving about this product. I started applying in the evening as my last step and in the moment my skin felt dry and tight. In the morning, my face felt dehydrated and not in any way better. I tried to stick with it for at least two weeks and ended up giving up on it.

~ Disclaimer ~

  1. My skin was already going through the absolute most… my experience with this product might not have been the best due to all my other concerns.
  2. Two weeks probably isn’t the right amount of time to see the benefits of this product.

Now that my skin is in a slightly better position as in my inflammation has gone down and my skin doesn’t feel as dry (maybe due to summer?) I would like to incorporate it into my routine once again. More as a preventative product versus a fix it all.

🏁 Final Verdict

Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream might be the moisturizing cream for you depending on what your concern/goal is and skin type. For me, I have dry to normal skin and am pretty sensitive. I experienced additional dryness and tightness on my skin and my issues did not improve for me. Now that I am in stage of a fixed skin barrier, my experience might improve with this product as a preventative treatment. Will provide a follow up on this article!
